Strikers South Coast is proud to present the annual STRIKERS CUP. The tournament will be held on August 24th and 25th, 2013.  The Strikers Cup has quickly become the premier youth soccer tournament in Southern California. Each year, the quality of competition increases and this year we aim to raise the standard of competition again. Our host venue will be the Huntington Beach Sports Complex, with fields at Westminster High School, Marina High School and various fields surrounding the city of Huntington Beach.

The Strikers Cup is a Cal South sanctioned Class 1 Tournament and is open to all USSF affiliated teams U9 through U19. We accept all USSF National Association Player Passes.

Our tournament is uniquely designed to be one of the last tournaments to be held before the opening of the CSL, the SCDSL, and the Presidio League’s competitive season. We will do our best to bracket every participating Strikers Cup team with teams in their respective CSL, SCDSL and Presidio placement levels. Each team competing in the Strikers Cup will play a minimum of three games, with teams that advance out of bracket playing in semi-finals and finals.

Prestigious team trophy for the Champion as well as individual medals will be presented to the teams finishing in 1st and 2nd place. There will be Championship   t-shirts for all winners.

In any age group where there are two flights, the tournament committee alone will determine into which group teams will be placed. Mercurial will be Flight I and T90 will be Flight II. If you have a preference for a particular flight, please email the Tournament Director and make a note of your request in the application under “Team History”.

If you wish to APPLY FOR PARTICIPATION in Strikers Cup 2013, please follow the on-line registration instructions. Your application must be received by the Tournament Committee on or before August 10, 2013. Acceptances will begin being e-mailed by August 15, 2013 or earlier. Teams outside CYSA South (Cal South) and/or out of state will receive automatic acceptance into the tournament once hotel reservations are confirmed by the Tournament Committee.

The age groups are for the 2013-2014 Season.

Tournament Fees: U-8 thru U-10 $500; U-11 thru U-19 $600.

CHECK-IN will be at the fields where the team plays its' first (1st) game. Please check in at check-in tent one hour prior to kick-off time.

PLEASE REMEMBER THESE IMPORTANT FACTS:

As you complete this application and make your payment online or by mail, your application is considered complete and your team will be considered for acceptance into the tournament. Making your payment does NOT guarantee acceptance into the tournament. You will receive confirmation that a payment has been received. This is not an acceptance notification into the tournament. The Strikers Cup, while trying to be equitable in its team selections, reserves complete jurisdiction of the teams that are selected for whatever reason.

REFUND POLICY FOR STRIKERS CUP


Partial refunds for cancelled or suspended games will be considered by the Tournament Committee to determine the extent of a refund but said refund will not exceed $100 per game. No refund will be allowed due to forfeit of any game by any team accepted to tournament.

Any team that withdraws from the Tournament after the team has been accepted or on or after August 10, 2013, which ever date occurs first, will not receive a refund of any kind.
