RULES

All games will be played by FIFA rules modified by US Youth Soccer and CYSA-South and each participating team is guaranteed three games.

Times:

9/12 - 25 min. halves 13/19 - 30 min. halves

SEMI-FINAL GAMES
All semi-final games ending in a tie will go directly to FIFA penalty kicks.

CHAMPIONSHIP GAMES
If a championship game is tied at the end of regulation time will go directly to FIFA penalty kicks.

AWARDS
Winner will be presented with Champion Cypress Cup  and individual player medals for the champions and finalist teams.
 
GAME PROCEDURES
All teams shall consist of at least (7) players.
Player Passes (ID'S) and roster will be verified upon check-in.
Home team has choice of sideline, away team choice of jersey

UNDER 9 thru Under 10 PROCEDURES
Will play with a maximum of eight (8) players, including the goalie, on the field - Minimum of five (5) players. Opposing players must be at least eight yards on all free kicks. Penalty kicks shall be 10 yards from the goal line.

Points for preliminary matches as follows:
Win = 6 points
Tie = 3 points
Loss = 0 points

Point will be added for every goal up to three goals.

Point will be added for a shutout.

No shutout point for a 0-0 tie

Forfeits – Teams will forfeit game if not present at start of game.

Pool Tiebreaker - The tiebreaker format is as follows:

  1. Head to head competition.
  2. Goal Differential
  3. Least goals against
  4. Most goals scored
  5. Red cards against (team with most is eliminated)
  6. Yellow cards (team with most is eliminated)
  7. FIFA kicks from the penalty mark.

Ejections - Any player, coach or other carded administrator, who received a red card, will not be able to participate in at least the team's next scheduled match.

No alcoholic beverages shall be permitted in the immediate vicinity of the playing site. No person shall be permitted to appear on, or in the vicinity of, the playing site in an intoxicated condition.
